Biolac Wombat Feeding Teats
Biolac Wombat Teats are designed for hand-rearing orphaned wombat joeys, giving a safe, natural feed that suits the unique anatomy and feeding needs of these distinctive marsupials. Available in short and long versions to match different stages of joey development.
Specialised for wombat anatomy
The teat swells slightly in the joey's mouth to stay securely attached, mimicking the natural attachment that keeps joeys in the mother's backwards opening pouch. Wombat joeys have very small, tender mouths that can be damaged by an incorrectly sized teat, so a purpose shaped teat is essential for safe feeding.
Essential for wildlife care
These teats attach securely to Biolac bottles and syringes and work alongside marsupial milk formulas. Many country vets now keep marsupial teats on hand for emergency wombat care, a good indication of how important the right equipment is in wildlife rehabilitation.
