Biolac Puppy Formula is a specially formulated milk replacement designed to support the growth and development of orphaned or hand-reared puppies. This balanced formula provides essential nutrients to help puppies thrive from birth through weaning.
Preparation: Mix 2 scoops (20g) of powder with 100ml of warm water. First, create a smooth paste with 20ml of water, then add the remaining 80ml and mix thoroughly.
Feeding guide:
• Feed 10-20% of body weight daily, divided into 5 feeds over 24 hours
• Suitable for newborn puppies
• Prepare fresh milk daily and refrigerate any unused portion
• Always shake well before feeding
For older puppies, you can add 2ml of canola oil per 100ml to increase energy and total solids. If constipation occurs, add an extra 100ml of water to the mixture.
As puppies grow, gradually introduce solid foods around 3-4 weeks of age. Begin weaning by mixing small amounts of moistened puppy food with the formula, slowly increasing the ratio of solid food to formula over time.
Ensure puppies are kept warm and stimulate elimination after each feeding for younger puppies. Always consult with a veterinarian for specific feeding schedules, weaning advice, and health concerns.
