Biolac Wallaby Feeding Teats
Biolac Wallaby Teats are designed for hand rearing orphaned wallabies and other small macropods, giving a safe, natural feed that closely mimics a mother wallaby's teat for proper nutrition and development. Available in three specialised types: T5 Koala/Wallaby Teat (in pouch), T6 Wallaby Teat short (in pouch), and T7 Wallaby Teat long (in pouch).
Species-specific development stages
Each type suits a different stage of joey development, from in-pouch through to emerging young, with hardness options so carers can match the teat to each joey's growth stage. The controlled flow rate lets joeys feed at their natural pace and helps prevent aspiration.
Natural feeding experience
The soft, pliable material is gentle on delicate joey mouths while encouraging natural suckling behaviour. The long teat reflects how wallaby joeys attach to the mother's teat until they emerge from the pouch, making the transition to bottle feeding less stressful.
Reliable in care
These teats attach securely to Biolac bottles and syringes, and their durable construction stands up to frequent use and cleaning for hygienic feeding between uses. Essential for wildlife carers, rescue centres and vets working with orphaned wallabies and small kangaroo species.
Used with Biolac's marsupial milk replacers, they give young joeys in care the best possible start, supporting the journey from pouch dependency through to eventual release.
