BIOLAC P100 is a specialized milk replacement formula designed specifically for possums, including brushtail possums, ringtail possums, sugar gliders, feather tail gliders, and greater gliders. This formula caters to the unique nutritional needs of these marsupials throughout their development.
Preparation: Mix 16g (1 BIOLAC scoop) of P100 powder with pre-boiled warm water to make up 100ml of formula. Shake well before each use.
Feeding: Offer 10-15% of the animal's body weight per day, divided into feeds according to the possum's age and size.
Transitioning:
1. Start with M100 GOS for critical care and very young possums
2. Once stable, transition directly to P100 without a mixing period
3. Continue P100 until weaned, introducing solid foods as appropriate for the species
Unlike other marsupials, possums do not require transitions to M150 or M200. The P100 formula is designed to meet their nutritional needs throughout their development until weaning.
Possum-specific feeding guide:
- For critical care and very young possums, start with M100 GOS.
- Transition to P100 once the possum is stable and continue until weaned.
- Do not use M150 or M200 for possums.
