Biolac Infant Flying Fox Formula is a specially designed milk replacement for orphaned or rescued flying foxes. This carefully balanced formula provides essential nutrients to support the growth and development of young bats.
Mixing instructions: Add 1 scoop (14g) to 70ml of warm water. Mix a small amount into a smooth paste, then add remaining water.
Feeding guide:
- Feed 20-25% of body weight over 24 hours
- 100g bat: 25ml daily (5x5ml feeds)
- 250g bat: 60ml daily (4x15ml feeds)
For initial feeds, use a more diluted mix (1 scoop to 100ml water) before transitioning to the standard concentration by day 2.
As the flying fox grows, gradually introduce appropriate solid foods while continuing formula feeds. Always consult with a qualified wildlife carer for specific feeding schedules and weaning advice.
