M100 GOS is a first-stage milk replacer formulated for critical care and stabilisation in marsupial joeys. It contains added galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) to support gastrointestinal health and is particularly suited to furless joeys, neonatal possums, and animals undergoing rehabilitation.
Key Benefits:
- Enriched with GOS to support digestive adaptation
- Suitable for sensitive or recovering joeys
- Supports transition to standard M100
- Maintains nutrient delivery without overwhelming the gut
- Used across multiple species in early stages
Species Use:
- Macropods: furless/pinkie stage
- Possums: early care and critical condition
- Wombats: pinkies and recovery
- Koalas: neonates or compromised health status
When to Use:
- First 24 hours in care for all furless and velveted joeys
- Critical care patients until eyes open and ears are nearly erect
- Animals with compromised health or recovering from illness
- Joeys with digestive sensitivity or gut issues
Feeding Instructions: Mix 160g of powder per 1L of warm water (16g per 100ml). Feed at 13% of body weight per day, divided into 6 feeds. This rate reflects typical energy demands for marsupials in early lactation and allows for consistent growth without overloading the digestive system.
Guaranteed Analysis (dry matter basis):
- Protein: 38% (min)
- Fat: 26% (min)
- Carbohydrate: 28% (min)
- Metabolisable Energy: 448 kcal/100g
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, reseal and use within 3 months. Refrigerate prepared formula and use within 24 hours.
